While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

$3 for a bagel with cream cheese and 1 person behind the counter at 7am? No thanks.

This place is a breakfast oasis! Great, fresh food, KILLER bagels and THE friendliest staff you'd ever hope to find. I'm greeted like I'm part of the family every time I walk through the door. If you're looking for a great meal, a great cup of coffee and a warn smile, look no further than Bagel Works.

I have been to Bagel Works on numerous occasions because I live in the area. Each time the service has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, yet I returned, out of convenience, hoping that perhaps the terrible service I received was a fluke or one-time occurrence. Even with no line, they still manage to make you wait because they are talking to other employees while they spread cream cheese on a bagel. I have never been able to grab a bagel in under 10 minutes. The employees are also downright rude to customers, and have very nasty attitudes. My order came to $4.54, (for a bagel and iced coffee) and the woman yelled at me when I tried to hand her my visa-debit card. She demanded that I had to spend at least five cents more if I wanted to use it. Besides being ridiculously rude and cheap, they don't even deliver on their products: their food isn't very good, and they have never once filled their iced coffee up all the way for me or any other person I've gone in there with. You're really better off going down the block to another bagel store for better food, and much better customer service. I WILL NEVER go back there ever again, no matter how convenient it may be.

One of my favorite long island bagel shops. They have tofu cream cheese (regular and vegetable). They are a little on the pricey side but I blame that on its village location. Price is worth it for a great bagel.

Bagel Works is what I think of when I think of everything that makes Long Island bagel shops so great. And better than Manhattan. All the newspapers. The coffee. Wide selection of cold bottled beverages. And the bagels and spreads, fantastic. They do everything very well. My favorite bagel from there is the whole wheat sunflower. Before I became more carb wary, I used to buy a dozen of them to bring home to Philadelphia. A sublime tasting bagel.

good fresh hot bagels. buttered toasted bagel for only 2 bucks, def worth the money. Coffee is pretty good too

I had a NASTY cashier today named Giselle- nasty to me, and as I observed, other customers too. There's a new bagel store opening on the next block soon, and it's owned by the people that have the great bagel store in Huntington Station- SKIP this place and go there!!!

We went in looking for a fight after reading the reviews, and left with a peace treaty. Here's why: - bagels are very very good - excellent selection of cream cheeses - nova salmon fresh and clean - even the coffee is good - one staff member was quite friendly, the other not so much. So they may not win any public relations contests. But be sensible, don't make unreasonable demands and enjoy your food. I'd return here in a heartbeat simply because the bagel experience is that rewarding.

Far from average. My cinnamon raison bagel looked and tasted like a PLAIN bagel and had 1 raison in it. Very disappointed. Will not be going back.

They have decent bagels and pretty good egg sandwiches, but if you order a few things at once some will almost always cone out wrong. I'm not sure what it is but this has been the case for years with many different employees.

Really great staff and wonderful food! I come here often and am consistently pleased with the bagels.

good bagels however i found the fact that they charge 10 cents for you toasting of a bagel pretty ridiculous...

Only bagel shop in Huntington, and pretty darn good at that. I've been coming here for about 15 years now, and they have rarely disappointed. Best tuna fish I've ever tasted. The bagels and muffins are named fresh and there is always a huge selection - go with banana yogurt muffin and sesame seed sunflower bagel. They also make delicious egg sandwiches, though the bulkie rolls could use some improvement. Chicken salad is average. Reasonable prices too, even though they essentially have a monopoly on bagels in the Village. Lastly, the owner is very sweet and down to earth, which is a big plus in my book.

I like the bagels here a lot, and they have tofu cream cheese! It's always a little more expensive than I expect but it's worth it. It's not too far from the train station but it can be slow so don't rely on fast service if you're in a rush. They take credit cards and also deliver locally. A woman who took my delivery order on the phone today seemed annoyed or even mad but I usually have friendly service in person.

I'd rather have a Panera or Dunkin Donuts bagel. These are putrid, awful excuses for bagels. They are small and flavorless. I don't know if they use salt in the dough, but they just don't taste very good. The only reason they are getting two stars because the village alternative, Cup Of Joe, is far worse...

Decent breakfast sandwiches. I've had equally good at other bagel stores, so while this place has good food, it's not one-of-a-kind. Yesterday, a friend and I went in. We were trying to read the menu, which is scattered all over the back wall behind the register. A lady working there who looked like she was late 40s or early 50s.....she asked us if we were ready to order. We told her we still needed a few moments to decide. She immediately looked annoyed & had an attitude. Me & my friend exchanged looks asking each other what just happened. Another gal entered the store. So this same lady behind the counter stalled taking this other gal's order. She told this other customer that she can't take her order yet because we're "taking long to decide". What?? Did I miss something? So my friend & I said, "don't worry you can go ahead in front of us". So the lady working in the bagel store had such an attitude saying "I'm still waiting for them". (Meaning us) We re-emphasized that it's ok to skip us while we're looking over the menu. But the lady working at the store looked even more annoyed. She said to us.... "You're still not ready?" My friend & I were boggled. This experience was unexpected & distracting so we still did not make up our minds as quickly as the worker wanted us to....but we weren't holding up the line.... Instead we stepped aside, right away, when we just walked in. My friend decided on an egg sandwich. So the woman looks at me and says, "are you having one too?" so I said "uhm, I'm not sure yet, but you can continue taking care of her". So with an attitude she said "are you having one or not?" If you're having an egg sandwich I can make them at the same time ya' know." Me & my friend felt uneasy & were contemplating walking out....but we were so hungry we decided to just bite the bullet. We were actually quite humble & quiet. We were not expecting an issue. I noticed that the older workers here seem rude & easily annoyed when a customer doesn't immediately know what they want. This was our second time here. We noticed both times that the workers here seem rushed to get your order. Some if the workers here seem impatient if a customer is still deciding or doesn't immediately give their order. This is not ideal customer service I feel disappointed. Customers don't deserve to be rushed or spoken to like they're an inconvenience if they have questions or don't immediately have their order outlined. I just read other reviews about how rude some of the staff here is. They need to fine tune their customer service skills.

Best bagels in Huntington. Hands down. I've been coming here for years. However recently with some new staff, the only problem are these two young guys (who if you have to be served by one of them) who always get the order wrong, and when corrected they still don't correct your order. What the heck! It's a bagel! Or two! Not a laundry list!
(4)Fritz L.
Service can be rude especially in the AM during the rush. Skip the add ons unless you don't mind the in$ane. But the bagels kick butt and are better than bagels almost anywhere nearby and as good or better than most of NYC.
(4)Chelsea C.
Everything that Fritz L. said was to a t...but I don't think it's worth 4 stars. I think the bagels are mediocre and a chicken salad sandwich is almost 8 bucks. However, there is literally no other good bagel place around so this is where I go. They do have turkey bacon though which is always a plus.
(3)BJ S.
I go here regularly, but only because it is literally around the corner (less than 1 minute walk) from my work. The service is not great--it takes forever for most of the people behind the counter to make a subpar bagel sandwich, the counter is an unappealing swarm of people, and you have trouble even handing them money because they have crap all over the small counter. At least the staff is nice. Their prices are an INSANE RIPOFF, it nears on $5 for a bagel with spread. Beware calling in and ordering from the takeout menu--it is an older menu, and the prices have gone up around $1.50 for a sandwich from whenever it was printed. The bagels are good, but the everything bagel is sometimes lacking in the 'everything' department--i.e., not many seeds etc. on it. I don't know why I go here so much--really, it's just so close and I'm lazy. But I don't think I'll go there as often after today (ordered a sandwich on a roll that was $6.55 on the takeout menu--still a ripoff, but ok--and when I got there the new price for it was $7.89!! Hell no, never again).

When I moved to Huntington a couple of years ago, someone told me this place had the best bagels. All I can say is no. I was excited because they have tofu cream cheese and they seem to be the only place around town that does. But they charge an arm and a leg for it - 5.25 for a bagel with vegetable tofu cream cheese! The veggie tofu barely has any veggies in it too! The salt bagel I got barely had any salt on it. It would be worth the drive up into Woodbury to Gabby's for a much cheaper and 10X more delicious bagel with vegetable tofu cream cheese that actually has veggies in it.

Average. Service is terrible. Place needs a major makeover. Bagels are decent but prices have risen recently (over $4 for a bagel w lox spread, up from $3). Time to look for an alternative.
(3)J D.
I have to agree with Carrie C. the service is atrocious. I was asking how many bagels you get when ordering a dozen (usually at least 13). The girl said something in broken English, so I said I'm sorry I didn't understand what you said. So she said shouted the same thing at me. As if I had a hearing problem, it was embarrassing. Well you only get 12. The bagels were typical, a little shy of topping (seeds). I will not go back, there are so many bagel shops in the area, no need to be treated poorly when you're the customer.

Bagel works is the best! I have never had a bad experience there with service or food.
